Reservation Policy

Thank you for choosing Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation!

To make a Summer Camp Reservation at Camp Saffran or Camp Spencer please contact Laurie McIver our Camping Specialist who would be happy to assist in placing your reservation.

In order to better serve the many Troops who traditionally camp at Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation during the summer, we will continue the policy of giving those Troops the first option of renewing their reservation for that particular week and site for the following year. Troops have the right to reserve their site and week in camp for 2011 until Friday, May 29, 2010. Troops must file their reservation with the required deposit by May 29, 2010 to ensure their continued use of their preferred week and site for the following summer.

On June 1, 2010, sites not re-confirmed will be available to any Troop to reserve. Reservations accepted on Sunday, April 25th at the Broad Creek Open House will be honored on a first come, first served basis.

We will begin accepting 2011 summer reservations at the Open House on Sunday, April 25th, at Broad Creek Scout Camp. Units here can register for the same site during the same week in 2011.

*New policy

Any units not registered for 2010 may place a deposit for 2011. This will guarantee the week, and a site will be assigned on June 1st.

More information on the 2010 Open House and how to RSVP can be found on the following form:
