Welcome to Camp Spencer and the Broad Creek Memorial Scout Reservation. Our Boy Scout summer camping program is energetic, dynamic, and offers something for everyone! From our tremendous first year camper program, to more than 45 merit badges, to a long list of older boy/Venturing programs, there is no way to leave camp bored. Most importantly, we have one of the most dynamic, experienced, and ENTHUSIASTIC camp staffs you will ever encounter. Our mission is to provide the best program and the highest level of customer service possible. If you’re looking for a great place to bring your Scouts this summer, look no further! I look forward to seeing you at Camp Spencer in 2010.
~ Camp Spencer Director, Kevin McClelland
Central Dining: Meals are served cafeteria-style in the Jacobs dining facility. Quality meals are prepared by our experienced cooks. Seconds on food items are usually available for hungry campers. After each meal, your unit will participate in the fellowship and crazy antics of the Spencer Staff!

Merit Badges Offered
Listed in alphabetical order are some of the merit badges offered at Broad Creek last summer. With all merit badges, Scouts should become familiar with the requirements before coming to camp. Pamphlets should be purchased and studied prior to a Scout’s arrival to insure his familiarity with the merit badge requirements for completion. Options vary between Camps Saffran and Spencer. Please contact the Camp Director to find out which badges are offered in your camp.
